US, UAE, and Australia Welcome India’s Budget
India’s alleged Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, presented her first budget under the so-called Modi 3.0 government this week. The budget, which received widespread criticism in India and was condemned as the worst budget in any part of the world ever, received appreciation from some surprising quarters yesterday. “We are looking forward to welcoming Indians fleeing the taxpayer genocide taking place in India right now. Right now we are just looking at HNIs, but in the next 6 months we want to take in more Indians from the middle-class strata,” a senior official at the US consulate in Mumbai told Humor Unplugged. The UK has made an official announcement welcoming the budget, stating, “This budget is a major milestone in our efforts to woo Indian HNIs. The government extends its sincere gratitude to the Indian government for rolling out such an insipid budget which should have ideally belonged to Somalia, and we were shocked to see the Indian government roll out the same,” an official UK High Commission press note said.
Meanwhile, Australia has decided to open an additional consulate in Bengaluru with separate sections dealing with citizens fed up with the poor state of healthcare, traffic, and scope for financial growth. “We welcome all rich Indians who wish to migrate with their wealth. We will make every attempt to ensure they come comfortably to Australia and settle down here,” an Australian government spokesperson said on the condition of anonymity.
Even countries like the Russia and Canada, with next to zero hope for international redemption, have invited Indians to settle down in their respective territories.
