Arnab Goswami receives Haldiram gift box from Reliance

Anant Ambani, the younger son of Reliance Industries chairman and big time showoff Mukesh Ambani, finally got married to Radhika 'Instagram' Merchant in a grand ceremony in rain soaked Mumbai last week. While wedding guests were treated with five-star hotel stays and all kinds of luxury gifts, Reliance employees also received a token gift box to celebrate the occasion.

Alleged journo Arnab Goswami received his box early on Friday afternoon and things went downhill from there.

Scuffle breaks out at the Goswami household 

As per a Humor Unplugged source, as soon as the courier arrived at his house, Arnab kept mum and tried to smuggle the box in without lettting his wife Pipi Goswami know about its contents. He apparently wanted to consume the contents of the box without sharing anything with Pipi. 

When questioned about the box, Arnab said it only contained official documents and some old post-it notes (the logo side of the box was hidden by Arnab using an old t shirt). An unconvinced Pipi asked him to put the box down and move away from it. She then asked their pet lab Shelador to sniff the box. As soon as Shelador got a whiff, he sat down and Pipi understood the sign well enough. Shelador is trained to detect undeclared consignments including sweets smuggled by Arnab. As soon as a consignment is detected, Shelador sits down to indicate a positive detection. 

As soon as Shelador sat down, Pipi flung a raw gooey papaya at Arnab who barely managed to dodge the projectile. Just when he was about to get back on his feet and ask 36 questions while blaming the opposition parties, Pipi flung an old iron pan that has been passed on from generations in her family. 

The pan hit Arnab on his forehead and he started bleeding Molybdenum Disulfide and collapsed on a pile of laundry clothes stashed away by Pipi. He was then thrown inside an old Big Basket grocery box and flung into a garbage truck by Arnab's mother-in-law Gneepy Chawla. 

Arnab is recovering at a nearby landfil.
