Indian shoe breached our airspace: Pakistan

Pakistan has lodged a strong protest with the Indian high commission in Islamabad over an alleged breach of its airspace by a shoe from India. Pakistani newspaper Daily Junk quoting Pakistani airforce sources reported that the shoe appeared on radar positioned near the Wagah border for a brief moment and then ‘vanished into the darkness’. Pakistan’s famed 10th airborne division consisting of three paper planes was immediately scrambled to intercept the shoe and neutralize the threat, but returned empty handed as the shoe had managed to miraculously disappear, the paper alleged in an Islamabad datelined story. Pakistan's kitchen cabinet had an emergency meeting to discuss the intrusion and dispersed after the usual round of snacks and tea.

Speaking to press after the incident, Pakistan’s over imaginative PM Gillani said that this was ‘another act of Indian belligerence’ designed to destabilize the region. He added that Pakistan will not be cowed down by such incidents and will wait for bigger threats to emerge before panicking and running to china for help.

When asked about the future course of action, Gillani said that his nation had done enough flip-flops to keep India and the world guessing and that his country knew how to play the brinkmanship game to the fullest. Glillani claimed that as long as USA buys Pakistan’s argument that democracy was essential in Pakistan to ensure world peace, no one could touch his country, even with a shoe.

The Pakistani PM also said that his country had nothing do with the recent shoe attack on Bush. “I would like to reiterate that we have nothing to do with these attacks and we condemn such barbaric and inhuman acts of terror that are designed to foster an environment of hatred and mutual distrust,” Gilani said. When reminded that these lines were the same used by him after the Mumbai attacks, Gillani said that his speech writers had gone on vacation so he had to use the template speech available with the external affairs ministry. Claiming that Pakistan was in a denial mode, he said “at this point we are pretty much denying everything including stuff like someone throwing a used pyjamma at Pakistani army chief Kiani and my affair with my neighbor.

Gillani rubbished rumors stating that Kiani had gone hiding ever since Pakistani president received a threatening call from the Indian external affairs ministry. “I had myself seen him three days back. He (Kiani) told me that his doctor had asked him to stay underneath the bed for a while as he was not keeping well”, the PM said. “As soon as India stops issuing threats..oops I mean he gets well, we will see the Pak army chief,” he added.

This report, the third of its kind to emerge in as many weeks from Pakistan, indicates a sense of fear and paranoia in that country, claimed experts.

this is too much.. from India to actually have a thrown a shoe over Pakistan... is it worth worth wasting a shoe and throwing it to the other side...
no i only hope that it was not an expensive one...
the army might even consider declaring an emergency over this...
i am sure they would ask for full pair... and more over they may try and provoke us to throw more that side...
